Un estudio realizado en la Universidad Estatal de Oregon, indica que existe un sexto sabor, que podr\u00eda provocar nuestros antojos de carbohidratos<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Este descubrimiento podr\u00eda cambiar completamente la idea que ten\u00edamos de los sabores que nuestro paladar puede detectar; es decir, dulce, salado, \u00e1cido, amargo y umami (a\u00f1adido a la lista hace siete a\u00f1os). Sin embargo, recientemente detectaron el sabor extra \u201calmidonado\u201d.<\/p>\n

El estudio se\u00f1ala que nuestro paladar puede detectar carbohidratos que se encuentran en alimentos como el pan, papas y pasta.<\/p>\n

El Doctor Juyun Lim declar\u00f3 a la revista New Scientist, que los cient\u00edficos no han podido encontrar receptores en la lengua que detecten sabores ricos en almid\u00f3n, por lo que \u201cno puede ser declarado un sabor elemental\u201d.<\/p>\n
